Member Spotlight: Glenda Barrett A New Fish in the SAC Pond
Congrats to Glenda Barrett! After years (I am not allowed to say how many) of not knowing how to swim she took it upon herself to finally learn. She had aspirations of swimming in the open water in many of her vacations but didn't know how to make it from point A to B. After only 12 swim lessons Glenda now swims a ˝ an hour at a time, is determined to get her laps in, and even swam in the open water on her last vacation.
Glenda loves swimming because it compliments her running and strength training workouts, helping with flexibility, strength, and range of motion. This new skill has given her the confidence to swim anywhere!
Congratulations on your achievement Glenda!
